driver side seat belt dosent work. was wondering where to get a new one and how to replace it

Hey there, and welcome to the site!
for future reference, please be more specific about the year and model of the car (mine is an '88 L+, carb, 4-speed, for example).
and what part of the seat belt isn't working? is it the motorized belts or the manual belts?
If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.

I have a 90 L plus fuel injected 5 speed and it has automatic seat belts. its only the driver side that dosent work so i'm thinking that its just bad.

Could be the box under the drivers seat, but then again it could be the motor itself on the belt assembly too.

I say rip the automatic belts out and replace them with the good old manual ones. What's that you say? You don't know where to find manual belts? Well, you're in luck because I just so happen to have a set for sale.

I would like to put the manual ones in. If he doesn't want them let me know please.

Any idea where a wiring diagram is for a 1990 with seat belt problems? I have a Haynes manual but nothing on the seatbelt system.

But how's his festiva supposed to try to decapitate people without its automatic belts?

( Mine's never done it to me, but it's done it to everyone else who's ever been in it, riding or driving. )
