$2006 Grassroots Motorsports Festiva

I live .9 miles from work. If all I was doing was driving to and from work I'd fill up once a month or less.

lets say you drove 2 miles to work. came home at lunch every day. thats 8 miles to and from work per day...5 day week = 40 miles a week. 10 gallon tank and lets say your festy gets a good 40 on easy 55 mph trips. thats 9 weeks at least for one tank

Why do so many people constantly refer to Festivas as "crap" or "shitty". I can provide an entire list of cars that are a lot worse than the Festiva. Of the cars I've owned, my Festivas have been the most reliable.

If you're going to get a car to fix up and put time, effort and money into, why bother getting one you're going to refer to as a piece of shit? If you think it is a substandard vehicle you are not going to put your best effort into it so why bother?

Very reliable cars. Back in their day, Consumer Reports always recommended Festivas because of their high reliability ratings.

my car doesn't get 40mpg in city driving, and 2 miles is all done at 25 with stopsigns and lights and so forth. I think I average 30 in the city, but that is partly because of my lead foot.

honestly, I love my festiva, it has been THE most reliable car I have ever owned. thats out of a 76 nova, 85 civic, 79 porsche 924, 91 240sx, 91 olds cutlass supreme, 86 reliant K, My festiva has been the best! The reliant would have gave it a run for its money, if the wife would have kept oil in it when we split up lol. My baby has been called all sorts of names, Shit box, tinkerbell, death trap, red rocket red rocket(? its not even red), but shes my little turd!
