^^^ yes, yours is the one I was thinking of! I'm already planning on trimming out the inside of the dash in black like yours, also the area against the climate control head.

Michael, is this the stuff your thinking of?

ok, silver and satin black are neck-and-neck. I did a test spray of both colors on a trashed center stack trim... I think I'm going satin black. Fits my color scheme better. But, it was a REALLY tough call!

No Vote....I think what ever paint wells and holds up is the best choice....I'm in different to color....What I don't like is a bad paint job or one that does not hold up. Jim, I'm not saying you don't know what you doing. I just think the quality of the paint job over rules the color...that's just me.....thou deathegg's choice is pretty sweet

absolutely, Joe. I test every coating I consider before I commit to it. I demand OEM quality, and can't tolerate a poor quality finish.

I think you picked the right color.. my silver is nice, but with your exterior color, Satin black is much better. As you (and I) mentioned, as long as you prep it right, you'll have no problem with the quality or durability.

If you look close, the gauge pod surround is only painted on the outside, not in towards the actual gauge panel, so it looks to be framed that way.. I've had a few nice compliments from people because it sorta looks stock. Also painted the tach to match.

I say, go with silver Jim!!

Now my next big decision is whether to paint the spokes of my new steering wheel to match that dash paint, or keep the spokes black.
