in the honda ridgeline truck the gate opens sideways or down, which is awesomely cool..you could have dutch doors would also be cool[/quote]

wow, you mean like every american station wagon from the 1960's, 70's and 80's?

Ridgeline = glorified roofless station wagon

but, it is perfect for most "happy Harry homeowners"

    (I still think its retarded)

thats cool how it will open either from the side or from the top, down... Use it as a stationwagon type door or as a pickup truck door. seems odd, but different.

        but it's cool because it's a truck...and also a really cool truck

i'd like to see somebody make a tailgate that flips down to become upholstered seats, the glass could flip up i guess...i'd do it if i had either money or skills

but that's the problem I have with it... Its not a truck. Its just a glorified car. Trucks have frames, not unibodies. Just ask the pissed off people who bought Sprinters, only to have the torque boxes sag under load...

other than that, its nice. Perfect for a family who needs to haul something on occasion, but not everyday.
