Does anybody have one of each (steering knuckle) that they can compare as to how heavy they are made. I'm having trouble with the heavy piece that the strut attaches to breaking where it attaches to form the bearing housing. I would like to know if the Aspire knuckle is made any heavier than the Festiva.

Actually it's from circle track racing and the knuckle on the right side that takes all the car weight and abuse going through a left turn. You gonna race that thing?

Okay, question:
What kind of metal are the knuckles made out of?
Sintered metal?
Cast iron?
Forged steel?
Anyone know?
