are you putting them on a transparent backing so the light from the speedo can be seen in the proper places?

on the tachless (at least mine) it is front lit with the reflector on the top, the only things comming through would be the idiot lights and the turn signals. So those pictured are not transparent and the above mentioned parts are cut outs. However if the tach clusters are back lit that would make the transparrent necessary and make alignment key. But I can do transperents aswell.
