The more you drive it, the more you get used to it. My two manual steering Festivas steer like a dream compared to my '89 Escort with manual steering, so it could be worse.

but i love my car b/c of the simplicity, no PS, no AC, just a motor and a unibody... heck i even ditched most of my interior and washer fluid etc.
