PM sent!
The car looks great.
I would be inclined to drop it before the kit, but to each his own!
An update on the PM-
Basically- 'because of the (lack of) popularity' with this shape / model Festy, parts are very few and far between. Mods and upgrades are scarse, and spares are becoming rare and expensive. <<Not to say it can't be done, because it can.
There are still places in OZ to get the likes of kits / wheels tyres / suspension etc etc...
I have spoken to you regarding kits in Sydney- just need to look at prices and shipping...

Bodywise, yes- depending on 4dr / 2 door.
Kits are more easily available for the 2 door (which we both have). both front and rear bars, headlights, corner lamps and taillights are completely and easily interchangable.
As are things like suspension, brakes, interior, glass, and all exterior panels. Keeping in mind the 2 / 4 doors.
Engine wise- Similar. Mid to late 1997 the OBDII engine was released (Mine is Dec 1997 OBDII), replacing the OBDI. Also keep in mind us Aussies were blessed with the LIMITED edition 1.5 (Which i beleive you have?) whereas everywhere else, and the balance of Aussie Festys only had the 1.3.

Yup, it is standard Nerd Racing.
In some (rare) cases, there is tach dash in Black, but in most cases black without tach
All Australian Festiva's have black as background.
Yeah, saw the photos. Quite enjoyed them too. Would love to see some more.Last edited by festymick; 08-28-2008, 07:21 AM.
