      I am thankful:
For my life since I found Jesus. (and his sacrifice most of all)
      That I reached the age of 20 before I lost my Great-Grandmother. (I am/ will be 22 - 12/31)
That I still have most of my family and friends left to enjoy life with.
That I have the ability to help others even though I don't have much myself.
That I have a Festiva to turn into my (miniature) dream car (slowly but surely).
For FF.com (and everyone on it), that I have a place to get help/ information/ and a source for rare parts/ options and "goodies".
That God has a perfect job/ sequence of jobs out there for me.
That God has (and is preparing) the perfect wife out there for me.

...and that I have at least one friend that was willing to read my entire post.
      Thank you, whomever you are.

      Happy Thanksgiving Everyone,
      Chris

My Grandma passed away from pneumonia a week before my wedding! SHe still had her brains, hearing (well, technically she was supposed ot wear hearing aids but she didnt like how they looked lol), and her sight! However, she did lose her fine motor skills towards the end

same with my last grandmother. 91, less than 2 months from 92. Sharp as a tack right up to the end. She passed January of '08. Checked on her at 9am, a-ok. My sister checked on her at 10:30, and found her passed on the family room floor.

she kept telling us it wouldn't be long. Just before Christmas, she told us she wouldn't make it another month. We kept telling her "no way, you're in great health", which she was. She passed on Jan 21, 2 days after my dad was hospitalized for Acute Heart Failure, due to a viral attack on his heart. '08 has been a rough year...

I'm thankful first for my life in Christ (and my family's), my beautiful wife and my three fantastic teenagers. Then all those that have fought and sacrificed for my freedom today and in the past. My Dad and his three brothers all fought in WWII (1 Navy, 1 Marines, 2 Army). All lived through some horrible circumstances and came home so I will never take for granted those that serve. I have so many other things I'm thankful for not the least of which are you guys. I have so much fun on this website and hope to meet you guys someday face to face. Thank you all for your friendship over the web, the great advice, laughs and putting up with stupid questions :p
