Tim, i used to ship cars from out west (in 06-07 shipping was around $500 from WA,OR,CA,AZ,ID) alot of these cars are from those states, the cars were cheap to begin with so i never paid more than $1300 total for a car shipped from out west. the old subarus from WA state hold up awesome, always without a spec of rust and clean interiors. if you ever look for another brat, definatly check out Washington and Oregon.

Pu241, the 360's are from many places. the van was from TX, the primered p/u was from PA, the hotdog truck was from CT (it was an original hotdog truck, but the hotdog unit had seen better days), the white sedan was from PA (i bought it and restored it), i also had an autoclutch sedan with 4k miles on it but it was very rusty and i had another parts van. i used to be a member of the club, but after i sold all my 360's, i began selling NOS 360 parts on ebay (bought from Fred Johnston in PA) Ed Parsil thought they were parts bought from the club being sold for profit and he kicked me out of the club. i'd like to see pics of your 360s!

They are everywhere around Spokane, and pretty cheap too.

If you want I can find a nice running, rust-free specimen and have it shipped to you.

I know other simular threads have been started and run their course. Lev is right that I meant vehicles currently taking away our finite time and attention from festivas. I shoulda/coulda made that more clear (sorry) You can always ignore it?

I love the subaru brats! (neat cyclops headlight in the grill). It looks like you make the best of little parking/work space too. I need about 20 acres of secluded land to meet my collecting needs.

Tim, neat truck! That's what I was going for with the 79 Toyota 4x4. Here in the land of "if it ain't big, gas-guzzling and intimidating, it's crap!" my little 4x4 wheel barrel gets all sorts of laughs. I have a neighbor with some Ford/Chevy/Dodge F250/350/950...whatever, he can't even drive through the alley because it's too big. We can hope it at least compensates for something...

Small is the way of the future IMHO.

          Because....45 MPG.

                  a couple from way back..............

The '41 Ford had a full race flathead engine in it. Bent front axle. Half round of play in the steering wheel left handed colum shift and no brakes. That's a car I raced when I was in high school.

The Corvair has a mid-engine V-8 in it. I've had it since about 1980.

Anywhere from $500-$1500, depending on the condition. It's really hard to find one with both a nice body and a running engine. They tend to be either rusted out or not running (they seemed to eat timing chains). But I'll keep my eyes peeled.

I paid $900 for mine, which was a steal because it's in amazing shape and just had $1100 in maintenance done to it.

As for shipping, I was quoted about $950 delivered from WA to TX... might be a bit more to MD though.
