Parents sold the Mustang today (1st car I ever drove) Then on the way home, my dad tells me that he's going to get Old Red converted to an auto, then it'll be my parents 2nd car basically, since they only have 1 now after selling the mustang Not too happy about it.........all that work and everything, for nothing, since it won't really be mine anymore. Looks like I'll have to find another one to buy What a shame, I really wanted to see Old Red all finished the way I wanted it to be, but I guess now it'll never happen if it's gonna be my parents 2nd car.

Thats probably how things will work out Needless to say i'm not in the best of moods right now Gotta start all over again basically......all my options I put on Old Red besides the rear hatch will be transferred to my new Festiva, whenever I get one....

That is awful....mt dad took away my first car and used it for his company car. Then I got my 73 Pinto, which I loved. Still, with all the hard work you put into it and FOTM it isn't the same. Maybe you could find him an automatic? The one I sent was too far away doggoneit!

I know it sucks! But he's already made up his mind on getting it converted to a auto All the hard work for nothing basically Guess I'll have to start over again with another Festiva........

Nope, glad I didn't It'll go on my next one I paid $200 of the $500 for it, and paid for all the parts to get it where it is now O'well life sucks sometimes........

whats the chance of findin your parents a small automatic car for cheep? im sure they dont care if the second car is a festy...... and if you can find 1 thats already an auto for cheeper than it would cost to make your festy auto i sure he would go for it.

Yeah o'well, I'm gonna have to get 2 auto trans maybe, because If I get a manual one to replace Old Red, I have to make it a auto too so the whole family can drive it.....

I think if I pay for the whole car, my parents will let me keep it a manual I'm working on getting one right now
