Have any of you used one of those magnetic oil pan heaters before. I just want the oil to be warm in the cold mornings here in Colorado. I dont care about heat as much as i would like the oil to be warm when i start up the grey ghost to get around engine faster.

I put a kats circulating tank coolant heater in. When I leave for work in the morning at a quarter after 5 the entire engine is as hot as if it had been running for hours. Instant heat out of the vents on startup. Not to mention easier startups. Also cold starts are horrible on gas.
Im not really worried about oil, I run synthetic 5w20.91GL BP/F3A with boost

If you do decide to go with a block heater, the instructions that come with it tell you which frost plug to put it in. It's been a long time since I've done one, but I know it's on the back side of the engine, and I think it's the third one from the driver's side, but I'm not 100% sure on that one.
