Yeah, I don't know when I will be able to go back there, cuz they are not open tomorrow, and I have school on monday thru thursday, so I could go there on Friday, or have my dad pick it up on monday for me!

does it have a title? is the car in an actual upullit yard? any parts missing? just don`t act too anxious. i have seen junkyard people raise their prices if they scence you are buying the car no matter what.

If it does have a title though, I wouldn't just let it sit, someone else may snag it up first.

It's not a u-pull-it yard, but it is a pretty big yard, what all is missing is all four wheels, maybe the spindles too IDK there was a lot of snow there.

those are some fairly big issues (no title, rust, been sitting in JY, needs tranny, no wheels, maybe no spindles), but this is all up to you. if its rusty too, it may not be worth your time/money to save it imo. you could wait and for $500 find a rust free one with a title, then buy all the goodies from that JY car.

Maybe have someone else you know take $200 up there and offer it to him. Then call and offer $250.

If they were going up there on his behalf...why would he offer them $250?
If he was going to do that why not just stop messing around and give him the $300. My time and all the hassel is worth more then the $50 I would be saving.

I'm sure he meant to add "and if he refuses" offer him $250.

It sounds like it would only be good for parts with not having a title, so if you can get $300 worth of parts off it then it's be worth it

yes, you use the aspire spindles when you do the swap, but that is another immediate expense for you to get the car rolling.
