Well, Friday I will be picking up my first Festiva. 1990 L, with 140k on and silver in color.
In the process of looking for a new work car so I dont have to drive my RX around my father in law knew someone at his job that was selling a Festiva for $100.
The guy selling the car bought it brand new in '89. For the last 5 years or so its been sitting outside because the car stopped starting.
Looking over posts and using that thing called the search button I've concluded that it could be dirty relays, bad fusible links or maybe something ignition or fuel related.
Previous owner thinks its a fuel pump which would make matters simple because I wouldnt have to track down an electrical problem. So, I'll be changing plugs, dizzy cap, rotor, oil, fuel filter, air filter ... yadda yadda.
Anything else I should add to the list when I start working on it? Anything thats a common Festiva problem?
