I love those styles of vans! My only suggestion is that if you are open minded to all makes, I would recommend the Dodge version. They came with the slant 6 and is arguably one of the best motors of all time. Just my take.

Both are getting very difficult to locate, in any kind of condition at all.

Focustiva: Because I was told it was was impossible to fit a Focus bumper on a Festiva.

C'mon Dan, the Ford 144/170/200/250 I6s are just as tough as the Mopar 'Leaning Tower of Power'!!! All the '65-up 170/200s have seven main bearings, nodular iron cranks, forged rods... I've seen them at 35 years old, with over 100k miles, take 15psi of boost without any failures!!!

hmmm, not real sure about that

Take a look at my driveway closely

There is one to the right out of pic as well, a 3 window pickup.

The red van way in the back is a panel, no motor or trans, missing a few misc things here and there.
Not sure what shipping would be to your location probably spendy, it was a runner then they blew the motor, I got it for the suspension to put in one of the 3 windows.
BTW, these are not as rare as people think, they are everywhere if you look a bit closer. Between my dad and I we have some where around a dozen and have sold WAY more than that.
The rarest of them would be the Spring Specials, Falcon Deluxe vans and the Turtle Tops (camper vans)
Join up to the yahoo group "Oldeconolines" usually something there for sale.

Sadly all are acounted for already, the one in front of the black ranger is my personal project.
Haven't decided yet but have a nasty 5.0 on an engine stand or I also have a complete Thunderbird Turbo Coupe that would make a nice donor

The t-bird weighs more than twice the econoline and gets down the road just fine, take the turbo 4cyl, turn up the boost and it should be a fairly fun ride.
