I like motorcycles and rat rods that have an even all over patina.

But I don't think that fake rust on a ricers hood is cool. I guess it's the new "fart can" or new "roll call".

As long as they don't copy the "ape hanger" shifter.

My hood has some rust bubbles..I was gonna fix them but if I procrastinate long enough and the rust spreads I'll have a cool car with out exerting any effort...is rust through cooler than surface rust...LOL

The idea to fix up a car is to get rid of ALL rust, so i see absolutely no point in adding rust to make it look good, so yes i think the rusty hood look is beyond stupid
