    Well I got her cleaned out today, and I found tons of old stickers but 1 caught my eye

    This is from TMR mag from back in the day, Teh guy who ran teh magazine owned this car

    what does this look like to you guys?



    anyways, got everything disconnected today and the engine should be coming out tomorrow :blah5:

      I would suggest that if your going to be doing a motor source out a late model 323 1.6L direct bolt in just have to swap over the injector harness and swap out ecu's and your on your way with 20+ more hp.

        Ill look into that for a future swap but at this point my main concern is getting her street legal in CA since its been non op for almost 9 years.

        Anyways, finally got the motor out tonight. everything went pretty smooth except pulling the axles was a PITA! I didn't have much room to work and yanked them out by hand


        Here's some pics of the progress, hope you enjoy them as much as I did

        All the wires unplugged, axles pulled... but I forgot the dam shift linkage







        The starter was missing and it looks as if someone made my fester a home for a while



        Heres teh 2 engines that I will build from, as well as my tranny

          Love your car! Too bad the graphics are pretty much shot though...they really add that rally style look to it!

              ^^^what size are those tires on the right of the top picture? look like 34 mudders..??

                  There going on my ranger project when its more drivable.... should I have just started another project when my trucks still not done?



                  I figure when I build the cage for the truck I can do a few tubes in the car as well
