Xfi flew to Arkansas to get tbird302v8's bp festiva. Its the one we all remember from this thread...
So I got a call at work yesterday and Xfi's new purchase is dead on the side of the road. 4th gear hadn't worked, then 5th gave out on the way back. So he's nursing it along in 3rd. Then it starts starving for fuel. He gives it more pedal, the temp guage goes up, and then it's dead. It popped a rad hose.
I cut out from work at 4 and grab dad's truck and trailer. Then after several hours stuck in Natural bridge VA at an Exxon station Al see's me pull up. We load up his BPfesty and hit the road to dad's house about 45 minutes away. We made a little trade for my Tracer LTS and some cash.
We took the nice rims off Al's festy so he could try to recoup some of his cash. BRIAN you listening? Then we gave the tracer the once over. We rotated the tires, checked the fluids, traded titles and he headed home in another BP powered vehicle.
Sorry for the troubles Al.
