got a e-mail replay asking how many tires we might want and that he'd check tomorrow on how many he could get. i replied at least 40 tires. i'm not sure if you can order 40 tires and not have anybody notice the huge discount you are selling them at, but we'll see how it plays out.

the reason i asked was cause the car had new 12 inch kumos, and i told hiim i couldn't find them anywhere and asked about cost. he said they where about 50 each in ohio, and that he had gotten these for 20, and could get them to me for about 26. i sent him an e-mail today, we'll see where it goes from there.

One full set to get mounted and possibly one set as a spare set. I would like to see the price around $30/tire if possible.

I'd consider a set...If the price was right...it be worth the trip to MD.
Last time I bought tires...I spent about three hours on the web and phone. I can be to Baltimore in less time.
I currently have a set of Nankangs w/6K on them...I'll be lucky to get 15K out of them.

1 full set(4 tires) here if price is good say 30 to $40, less is better!

Feeler for Tire group-buy **UPDATE**
28Yes, I want more than 4 tires17.86%5Yes, I want only 4 tires21.43%6Maybe 2 to 4, I'll have to wait and see17.86%5I don't need no stinkin' 12 inchers!!42.86%12Hey folks,
I may have the opportunity to purchase a large number of 155SR12 tires from a wholesaler. How many of you folks would be interested in participating, and what would you be willing to pay per tire? I'm not looking to make money on the deal, I just need to know if I should move forward with the deal after I get a price per tire from the wholesaler.
UPDATE;

Bad;
We'll have to wait till June to get the best possible price.
Good;
He thinks we can get a really good price, especially if we buy at least 100-150 tires.
So, who would be in? Is there enough interest to warrant me buying that many tires?
Basically, I don't want to lay out $4000 for 150 tires, and then be forced to sit on them because everyone backed out.Last edited by FB71; 03-17-2009, 12:27 PM.Tags: None
