Wow... the B6T has way more wiring than a BP does. You still need to fab up your own passenger-side motor mount. Also the only reason that the BP is harder to fit is due to the trans upgrade which you can/should also mate to your B6T.

The escort you are looking for is the 91-96 escort GT. The other models & years are not easily swappable.

unless he was referring to The early B6?

But i do agree and know from my own experience (i've done both these swaps) the BP is WAY easier to wire

          1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
          1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

So a simple non-turbo B6 would be an easier swap minus wiring, and i could just aftermarket turbo it? God decisions decisions, lol. Lets see, how bout whats the cheapest way to go to get a simple turbo charged engine (be it stock turbo or aftermarket) into this car. Forget the 13 second shot for now i can easily piece that together later on, goal for now is to get it roadworthy, and turbo (i miss having a turbo car, lol, thats why im only shooting for a turbo) BTW, the festiva is an 89' i believe, if that changed anything.

ouch... is it auto or manual? if its a manual, then its carbed, and your wiring is gonna be bad... you'll have to get all the wiring and computer from the car your engine comes out of to change over to the fuel injection.

no more input on whether its a huge job to swap from carbed to fuel injected?

^ Id say it would be a big job. You have to at least change ECUs and gas tanks. Not sure the wiring harness would be the same. You have to swap out intakes, MAFs, etc. probably. Sounds like a job to me. Ive never done it though. Has anyone even done it ?
