I borrowed his F150 to go pick up a ninja 250 ($325 - can't wait till schools out to put it on the road) and left him my car in trade for the day. He has talked about getting a festiva before, and when I went back to trade cars again today he said he really wants one now. I'm afraid Skeeter may not be a very fair representation of the festiva kind, seeing as nothing on it is stock, but still... I have never had anyone drive my car and say they didn't like it.

you dont need a truck to take a mtor bike... they fit in the back of the festiva lol BTW, i dont think i could letanyone drive my festiva, not even with me in the passenger seat.... it freaks me out....

Well I need one of my Festy's gone and this would be a way of keeping it close And he would then prob bring it back to my place for repairs etc, so I would get to keep my eye on it!

and yea, I think it would have fit in the back of a festiva! But we were hoping to pick up two bikes that day, which wouldn't have worked out that well.

edit. i just looked at the pic again, is it a 4 cylinder? if so, a 250 4 cylinder.... the pistons must be the size of pennys or mentos lol...

@ 250cc its not exactly a "crotch rocket", but it should be great fun in the twistiest!

its a 2 cyl, DOHC 8v. 26hp @ the rear wheel, top speed around 110, 60-70 mpg, 6spd trany.

Still working on getting a title for it... clean the carbs, hook up some lights, and should be good to go. It runs now but it needs some relatively minor work before I can take it on the street!

you should stick a race pipe on it its got the header, all you need is a straight-through muffler/pipe make it scream :twisted: whats the red-line on it?

yea its got a SS aftermarket header, and the muffler is a straight through with removable/repackable guts. My dad has the same mufflers on his bike, their nice b/c you can make them as loud or quite as you want. Its all rusty but I'll prolly sand it down and just spray it high-temp black or something and keep that muffler for now.
Its got a 14k redline.
Talked to a guy this afternoon who had to get a replacement title for one of his CJs, and what he said was in line with what I found researching the posibilities online... looks like it should take about 1.5months and around $50 to get a title. Hope so!! I want to ride it!
