I guess with the prospect of treading into unfamiliar territiry- this was bound to happen.
If only i had started with a lighter (read- FESTIVA) with more capacity (1.8 DOHC) and THEN poured copious amounts of stress, money, and time into it- we may have a different outcome?
Regardless- I suppose it's a giant learning curve- that i really can't see myself doing again.
Here's the results. Peak HP at 170KPH in 4th gear.
Torque is 320Nm, and 138.0 KW ATW, or 185.06 HP to the treads.
        Boost is 17.5 PSI.

While this power output may not seem too much (especially to my friends) it is a heck of alot more than the 50 odd hp it came with from factory. Not to mention the engine is STILL only 1500cc's with only one cam??????

I'll start with fixing the car back to it's former glory, get it rego'd and go from there...

Cheers for following progress and the fine comments.

Thanks. We only did this becasuse AT THE TIME there was no viable and legal engine swap
It does feel nice to drive it again, and to be fair- there is no longer any strange creaks or noises, it satrts runs and stops, and is surprisingly good on fuel.

I'm with DAMKID on the videos. Should be very soon.
