  • Look what i found!

hey everyone, walking around the jy today trying to pull turbos, having no luck, everything is either too hard to get too (saab and vw jetta) and the turbo diesel benz bolts were too rusty to get off. I felt like the day had conquered me when by chance i saw a crushed convertible capri sitting to the side. I walked over there and i found this engine. It was getting ready to storm so i took the picture and got too my truck... . . . . please tell me this is a b6t like i think it is.

If so i can pull the engine for 200 bucks, the is water in the valve cover so im assuming a big rebuild is in order, but hey, the fact that i found one amazes me.

    yup thats a B6T

    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

woop woop 200 dollars sound like a good deal to everyone? I can get a b6-me i think (dohc b6 non turbo) for 150, but then i would have to invest in turboing that.. and i dont mean to bother with questions (im about to search) but what size turbo is stock on b6t, and what is the stock tranny mounted to it.

i'm not sure about the stock turbo size but the tranny attched to it would be a G25MR, you would need to use the axles/ intermediate shaft in the festiva with that tranny

That's everything you need for a swap. Get the engine, intercooler, all the little things in the engine bay, trans with shafts, ecu and the entire engine wiring harness.

i know it had the plant growing from the ground up, tellin me its been there a while. Hopefully theres no damage a rebuild can't fix (regardless if the engine was perfect or not i was going to upgrade performance anyways) G5M-r huh. . . . how does that tranny hold up to power, not as good as the g25mr?
