Freshtiva -- THAT .....is an awesome picture, whew !
Thanks for posting. Love to see all those cars there. Does the archway ever sway much in high winds ? I mean, do they have to support it when this thing was built ? And, how old is the archway ? Pretty fantastic in looks, must be pretty high !

Soaring 630 feet above the Mississippi River, the Gateway Arch helps commemorate the 1803-1890 westward expansion that made St. Louis the Gateway to the West. The Arch, an engineering marvel designed by Eero Saarinen, takes the shape of an inverted catenary curve (a shape such as would be formed by a heavy chain hanging freely between two supports). Constructed in 1961-66, the complex engineering design is completely hidden from view. All that can be seen is its sparkling stainless steel outside skin and inner skin of carbon steel, which combine to carry the gravity and wind loads to the ground.

Looks like you'll be driving near the Flight 93 Memorial site in Shanksville, PA. I'd make that a quick stop.

Ha, ya I know, Even though I have a SRT-4-ACR as my daily beater,, I still miss that car dearly and think about it alot. I miss being able to take a 120 degree turn without stopping and backing up like a friggin 18 wheeler, lol

Hey Gforced, is the b6 still running strong?

The car is still running strong, and the engine is good. I think I may need a new VAF though. The car however is seriously suffering from rust cancer after last winter. I have never seen a festiva rust the way this one is. It has pinhole spots forming all over it. I feel it may be retired to only winter duty. I really hate NY salt.

Hmmm, I do tend to live in the past sometimes, and not the present, maybe that's it. Yeah, um, that's it.
