Yeah I hear swapping a sho tauras motor in a probe is pretty sweet.

The probe is a nice looking car, with a lot of potential. But the base SE model with the 2.0, more often than not, really is Found On Road Dead.

I also had a Corrodo...wish I still had it. Red, the G60 model with power roof.
              Because....45 MPG.

Totally agree Todd....I have examples of both Toyotas.... Gotta move to Canada or Oz (or NZ) for the nice vans though.

i like the toyota tercel 4x4 wagon made from 83-87.
i should have bought this one.

my favorite is the faithful toyota 4x4 van, made from 84-89.

the version produced in japan was even better,
diesel engine and the cool roof windows.

as far as older cars, i really like the station wagons from the late 50's and early 60's. my favorite is the 61 fury wagon, certainly forgotten and unwanted by most everyone.

Corrado was on my tangible dream car list in high school. One of the teachers had a black on black one with some sort of exhaust system on it. still quite a few of them around out here in cali, but too many vehicles for me to persue one.

Isn't that a Dodge Mirada up there? With a T-top?
                    Those were nice cars.

nice story about the lady and her comet. they were always a favorite of mine. i had a later model dodge dart sport, a 73'. it had the 340, 4 barrel and was quite fast.

i thought youd chime in about my picks, brenton, as you are a follow van lover. didnt know you had a tercel wagon too. ive seen a couple of imported yota vans listed for sale in the states. but how they got them registered i dont know.

the probe was pretty nice looking, but i preferred the toyota celica, 90-93. the gts and turbo models were the best looking, with the more flared wheel wells. remember the vw scirocco, they were fun to drive. another old favorite of mine is the studebaker lark wagon with the sliding top. there is a lark 2 dr wagon on ebay now id really like to have.

i thought it was perhaps a dodge diplomat, but maybe not. can you say cor-do-ba... i remember those commercials...

the old guy down the block had a lincoln with the suicide doors, black, convertible, mint. wish i could have gotten that when he passed on.

Yes, that's definitely a Mirada, which replaced the old Magnum in the lineup. But with a different nose and tail, it was also the 2nd gen Cordoba. I think only 60,000 were made, and so there can't be that many left.

Just saw that 'Stude wagon on ebay...sweet!

my submission...I should have kept this car, this was what I wanted when I turned 16. I found one for my niece whenever she turned 16, she drove it for a few years and I got it afterwards. I just sold it a few years ago.

Wow, I was going to post the Ford EXP and you beat me to it, which is crazy considering most people have never heard of them. It was my first car and I've been pining over it for years. They have become nearly impossible to find. Mine looked like this one, only with the rear window that bubbled outward. This is a great thread idea.
