X: still has me thinking....that narrow end looks like it has a barb for a vacuum hose. But if it was in the vac circuit it would not be white polypropyline...is it the float from the fuel pump.

Although I've never seen one in person, is Z something for a fun-top Festy? Like locking the top in the half-open position or something?If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.

It looks like a kind of a "tie-down" apparatus. With a locking twist deal knob ?
Like a roof rail tie-down thingy that station wagons and minivans had, or have ? What the heck do they call them.....jeez, why can't I remember stuff anymore ??
