all the wiring behind the intake is burnt and the injectors are melted, all the wiring for the alt is cooked as well as vaccum lines on the firewall - the car also had a set of air horns that are now melted - not a big fire but it had potential. I will be saving the motor though I've already got a new fuel rail and injectors comming like I said its repairable but due to the current circumstances I will only be repairing the motor

Without pics, I'm thinking new engine wiring harness and alternator, maybe timing belt cover and some of the plastic components in front of the throttle body.
I'd have replaced the spark plug wires anyway.
This is do able, don't let the dream die!

And yes, how did the #1 injector spray fuel outside the manifold?

I'd get a new injector harness....and splice into the main harness where the alt, oil pressure sensor, IAC sensor is.....if the rest of the harness is good don't change it all out major PITA!
