A long time ago my best friend Dave bought a Festiva. I do not know why he bought it. I picked on him for getting it. The car eventually grew on me. He asked me to look on the internet for things that would be cool for the car. I stumbled across this site here. It has answered a lot of questions about the car.
Well in the last month I lost my best friend to a heart attack. He was only 39 years old. He is surrvived by his 11 year old daughter Tori. Well with his death almost a month ago questions were being asked what was happing with the Festie. Well long story short I paid to get it out of the garage and took one less worry off his daughters shoulders.
SO I AM NOW A PROUD OWNER OF A 88 LX. There are a ton of new parts on the car. I do not have very many pictures of the car yet however one of the jewels that came with the car is the rare spoiler. It also has 2 new finders, headlights, tail lights, hatch, clutch, tie rods, half shafts, wheels, tires, ball joints, 1 new A arm, both wheel bearings, and the list keeps going. My friend put a lot of time and effort in this little car. I now have it and am going to be doing the same.
Something that we always talked about is hooking this thing up with a turbo motor. I think that if I did that it would be down the road and not to far out of reach. I know that he always wanted to do it but never had the time and money. Well I think that I do so I am going to be investigating it a little further. If there are any links that could help ask the main questions of this swap any help would be greatly appreciated.
Well with all that said...I think that everyone is going to be seeing me around here a lot and please do not mind me if I ask a ton of questions. I am not familiar with the Festiva at all. Thanks again
Dan
