If they (Ford) want to get back into the black, relaunch the Festiva. I would for sure take on another car payment if a new Festiva came out.....I tell you what

If they did, it would probably get ruined and turned into something more resembling the scion xb, nissan cube, honda element, kia soul. They would probably over exaggerate the boxy lines of it into something hideous.
I don't think they are going to have KIA building anymore cars for them anytime soon.

well, then they would to make the original......missing safety and all. They should do it and make buyer sign a waiver of some sort. Can you imagine a brand new, original Festiva. (I think my wife just gave me a dirty look) She doesnt get it!!

I wonder if there is a guy somewhere with one in storage with like less than 1000 miles on it for collectible value. Maybe he could take it to the Barrett Jackson auction. I would die if I saw a mint festiva on T.V. at the Barrett Jackson auction and having them talk about how this one has the rare under seat tray and blah, blah, blah. OMG, I would just die.

I think I am getting too tired I am starting to talk crazy talk.
            Peace, I'm out.

I couldn't help but add this in. It amazes me how people really get off on ripping on the Festiva.

Well, I didn't want to pass up a chance to join in, so I left a comment as well (Earthcrosser08---signed Deathegg at the bottom). It seems to me that the blogger is upset a bit, because us Festiva people started to chime in, picking the "ratty Festiva" over the Fiesta.

what do you mean "back in the black"? Globally, they're in the green! That's why they didn't need any bailout money!

BAH! Theyre idiots. Its tough to compare vehicles that are/were made 20 years apart. The advances made in automotive technology may possibly make the new Fiesta a great car. But it has its drawbacks as well. As far as safety I dont think there can be any comparisons between the 2. Far and away the Fiesta is probably going to be the safer car. But I can say in all honesty that I was hit head on by a Toyota something doing 50 mph minimum and walked away with only a bruise from the seatbelt.
If they released the 2 door Fiesta here Id be REALLY tempted to trade in my Neon for 1.
