Expy was her idea. I was forced to sell my modded Audi. :angry5: Anyway, I'm stuck with the suv as we tow fairly often and need the room when we travel with the 3 big dogs...

I'd love to do a swap and it was actually my first idea but, I do not know how, don't have the helpt to do it nor the facilities and probably not the time at this point since it's gonna get cold soon.

BTW, I'm in South Eastern, KY- about 1 hour south of Lexington and about 1 hour north of the TN border off of I-75. If some of you guys wanna help me do a swap I can provide food and beer!

My OPINION on the value of a carb car is $300-$400 bucks, but with the parts you've installed you should be able to double that. Sorry but carb cars are slower, worse mpg's, more work and the motors do NOT last as long.....reason why...never perfect tuning. Good luck with the sale, but if you keep it I'm sure someone will help u out....If I still lived in TN. I would...

So she made you sell the Audi, and now the Festy too?

I see a road trip in your future, to FL; winter would be the perfect time for a motor swap. Right, Greg?

By the sounds of it you would be more financially responsible getting ride of the wife :-) Just looking at the car and by the fact its a carb with a good deal of rust I wouldn't personally pay more than $600 for it. After 6 rusty festiva's you learn to stay away from them :-)...well for awhile.

im in with no more than 600 but around there rust is terrible and carbs are very touchy and old as we all know but you have some gem parts on there!

PS you could probably make a legit 100$ on the tray no joke

If you dont need an SUV then I would sell that and buy a used vehicle for the wife. I wouldent go get a WRX unless I could afford it. I would talk it over with the wife and come up with a compermise.

With all the new parts installed I would say on here $750 "real world" value of $600

That is about what I would pay - for the body condition alone I would only give 500-600 but knowing what work you put into it I would be willing to give a max of 800
