cleaned it with just water and a rag, gonna use some degreaser stuff for the stuburn mildew off.

instead of starting a new progression thread, i will keep posting on this one...
done some searching, and found wire harness,fuel tank, lines, to swap over to efi.
found a local place with a hand full of motors, some dohc 1.8 and some sohc 1.8 out of
protege. prices from 300 to 400, with 90 day warrenty.
since this car is in better shap than my blue one, decided to start on it first.
i have read the thread on bp swaps,

my guestion is? when i get wiring harness off festiva in pull a part,
what all is a part of the harness?
and when i get it, how do i install it in my festy? same as removal?

almost got the engine and trans out.
found a local place with a bp motor with 30 day warrenty for 300
once motor and trans are out, will strip insides and work on wiring harness.
its a bigger project than i thought, but it wil be worth it.

finally got engine out. headed to pull apart in the morning for a day of stripping.
decided not to put bp in it, instead gonna leave it a 4speed, and put my 1.3 out my blue festy in it. then once i get it all back together and running
i will start putting bp in my blue one.
i want my red one to be my (nice) dd and my blue one a weekend driver.

also; told sparky bout a white 90 model i saw at local garage getting worked on.
gave guy my number, and he called today wanting to sell it to me.
he said they fixed it for the owner, and he wants to sell it for what he has in it.
its a 5speed,efi

yep, hopefully he will call back with details.
started pulling dash out now, so i can figure out what and how to replace wiring harness.
getting a tank and gas hose and ecu tomorrow, along with a wiring harness.
tomorrow night i will start replacing the tank and harness, all while cleaning everything so when i put it back together i wont have to worry bout it for a while

my sucky trip to pullapart

finally made it to pull a part to get some parts i need, and walked forever trying to find the 93 festy for the wiring harness, and some body did major work on it since i went last.
wires everywhere... anyways, i decided to look for ecu for the bp im putting in blue car.
no luck! none of the 12 cars there that could have bps, didnt have one.
so i just walked around looking for random stuff.
picked up 2 sets of door pockets that are exactly like stock festy pockets for a dollar a piece!
