  • new festiva

    so i just got my first festiva L, 200 dollars, the engine is locked up, i have takin the valve cover off and put diesel down it to get it inlocked, i have big plans for it later on...heres one pic for the night, will have more soon

        thanks, i belive its been hit on the pass side tho, there some bondo around the tail light, i will snap some up close pics of that as well

              yeah, the color is diffrent, and i will make sure the pic size is better on the next pics

                i never cared much for that colour either and i still dont, but it is in great shape which is what matters

                Instead of trying to fix the seized up engine i'd just swap it for a BP or something :lol:

                        im just playing around with this enigne to see if i can get it running to give it some hell befor swaping, its not staying in very long, here are some more pics as promissed












                        the speedometer says 78k does that sound right? im thinking its at least 207k judging the 1/4 thick oil all over the head

                          got something done to the car yesterday... take a look at this find...





                          the engines still locked up, going to pull the pan today and check out the internals

                            Those VC gaskets leak a lot sometimes. I have one with 91,000 on it, and it is as bad as yours if not worse. To be honest with you, if you do end up getting that engine running, you will probably have more in it fixing it than what it is worth. Especially if you are planning on doing a swap anyway. Just my $.02.
                            The normal is not always normal... MOST is not ALL... And any job can be hard if you don't have the right tools!!!
