i never cared much for that colour either and i still dont, but it is in great shape which is what matters
Instead of trying to fix the seized up engine i'd just swap it for a BP or something
1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor
1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)
If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Those VC gaskets leak a lot sometimes. I have one with 91,000 on it, and it is as bad as yours if not worse. To be honest with you, if you do end up getting that engine running, you will probably have more in it fixing it than what it is worth. Especially if you are planning on doing a swap anyway. Just my $.02.The normal is not always normal... MOST is not ALL... And any job can be hard if you don't have the right tools!!!
