Charging issue = loose belt = free fix
whining noise = pcv valve leaking = $6 (new valve and VC gromet)
sloppy shifter = bushings destroyed = $25 (new bolt, nut, spacers, and bushings)
So... approximately $31 fixed this thing up good enough to get me through winter. After winter I am going to replace the CV axles because they are clicking and popping pretty bad. It still idles low, and hesitates, but not bad enough to keep me from driving it. It has about three times the power of my carbed festy. This thing don't mess around...
for the first time, I was able to see a festy spin the tires! EFI is the way to go! Also, I got a new gl door panel coming from Tyler on here, so I will have an extra interior for sale shortly. Thanks for the help and advice on this car so far.
