I went to look at the 1k festiva, the owner was supposed to be there, but he wasnt home. Luckily the car was unlocked with a key in it lol. Its solid, does have some minor rust but nothing that will take more than a day or two to repair. Interior is in ok shape, no cracks on the dash, driver side seat is ripped. It has a Sony head unit, and some lightning audio coaxials in the back. It started right up, and ran fine, sounded good. We let it run forawhile, but the temp gauge never budged. Its like 15ish outside now though.

I am going to buy it, I just need to get ahold of the owner. We will go back up next sunday and just throw my plate on there. I just want to drive it

its going to need tires to pass inspection, it has 12s. What do you guys think I should do, well whats the cheapest way?

Never seen a cracked dash that wasn't from an impact of one sort or another.

Temp gage isn't an issue, we can fix that!
It's either poor contact at the senor (corrosion or broken wire) or just need a new sensor.
You can get one from another engine, there was one in Strauss Automotive U-Pull-It.
I got the seats and door cards, left the engine intact.
Some retard busted up the ignition lock trying to get it out.
otherwise, a complete set of locks could have been had.

Damn really? I need to go there sometime, my friends go up all the time, I herd they got alot of good stuff from the cash for clunkers program. The hoses didnt feel hot though, Im just thinking it wasnt getting warm yet. The first thing I plan to do is a guage cluster swap, it doesnt have a tach. Im also going to try to tint windows myself lol.

Lol I know. I have a ton of budget plans for it. Short throw shifter, escort console, I have a alpine head unit, kicker amp, very cheap sub, I plan to do a active 2 way setup for the front sound stage,a homemade reciever hitch,some type of fog lights,
and in spring I plan to spray it with bc/cc. As like all of you guys I can't leave anything alone.

I ride it, but not as often as I'd like to. The bike is way overkill for the riding I do, I ride mostly on the bike paths in the local metroparks.

Bad news, the guy with the festiva sold it friday, so we rode up sunday for no reason. He knew we were coming and didnt call. Lets just say im pretty mad lol.

And I have been wrong about the R title issue in WV. You can repair the car, and put it back on the road, but the title will always be an R title. No matter how many times the car changes hands.
