^^ I think what he's getting at is the B6 computer wasn't designed to be mounted in the engine bay, it was intended to be mounted in the car away from the elements. It doesn't have protection against moisture and heat like ECU's that are engine bay mounted.
Ding, ding, ding.... you are correct sir. Thats what I was thinking. Its easier than removing the dash I guess.. but not in the long run.

I figured there had to have been a bunch of people watching the car, too. It was up for sale some time ago, too.
I put together a cruise up Mt. St. Helens every June, so maybe we can get some Festivas on the run!
