If you want the "stretched" look, go 155/55 if the rims are 5.5".

They won't look "rim sticking out" stretched, but they would have the straight sidewall look (very little sidewall bulge).

Rim width is usually inside measurement.

Back in the day they did it to reduce tire roll in corners but they look silly to be!

alittle (at least where the idea originally came from). i just love the look and ill probly run slightly stretched tires on my 8" wheels this summer when i road course because of the function. i just dont understand how you anyone couldnt like the look?
