These cars are AWESOME in the snow.

There's a hilly field behind my buddy's house, and last winter it was covered in about 2 feet of snow. We took the Festiva out there and did some drifting and a bunch of stuff that should have gotten it stuck, but it plowed right through. I think we came closer to flipping the car than getting it stuck, lol.

Hey Allday.. welcome to the forum..

Just curious, are you running the stock 12's on your Festiva? Or are you running 13's?

Just curious because I'm doing the 12/13" debate.. only one place I can buy 12's around here now, but lots of people carry 13's. But if the 12's are better in snow, 12's it is.

^^ I run 13's on mine in the snow with no issues whatsoever. Plus I think the extra ground clearance helps out in the snow too

Gah.. you two are pushing me into dangerous ground in Canada.. making me wish for snow to try it out..

(thinking spring, thinking flowers, thinking clouds and bunnies and not 39 inches of snow)..

Like wybnrml stated, it depends on how the car was treated by the previous owner. The only trend I've noticed is head gasket failures between 200k-250k.

But mine made such pretty fire when it decided to commit suicide in my driveway.:tongue3:

I concur on the awesomeness of Festivas in the snow. Well, really in their general all around awesomeness. But I can, and have driven my Festiva past State Road snowplows stuck in the road. Even with all the snow we've had here this winter, I am one of only two people at work who has shown up every day. Festivas Rock!! :headbang:
