  • I finally found a festiva!!!!!!!!!

    YAYYYYY!!!!!!

okay so maybe im a little too excited.. but i finally found the exact color/body shape i was looking for...

my family has been through around 6 festivas but never had one of this colour

its a bluish/greenish kinda colour and the body is MINT! it looked like it came off the showroom floor... not even a needle head of rust, no scratch and no paint fade to be found.

the only problem = automatic i really hope its not a problem to change to 5 speed

    my one question
    1) are there big differences in auto/manual wiring?

im hoping i can still do the bp swap i was planning to do with a 5 speed i will post pics in the next 2 days!

Nice grab cant wait to see pics aswell

only difference in wiring is you have an extra interior light for where P-1-2-D-R would be light up when lights are on (good for a cool night accessories) and there is only one Neutral/safety switch input instead of 2 on a manual harness. manual harness has transmission safety and clutch pedal safety

I have an auto efi harness with 5spd its wired to start only if tranny isn't in gear !

saves me the trouble of pressing in my hard clutch everytime i start the car

Thats great man, I am also getting an aqua festiva but with a few blemishes. Aqua seemed to be one of the best colors Festivas came in.

Hey, was that the $800 one from Kijiji? I was drolling over that.

Am also near Edmonton (closer to Drayton). Glad to see someone from the forum got the car.. I suspect that given enough time, the ratio of Festivas to FF.com members is going to substantially improve.

Does it have the original radio by chance? And if so, if you're going to toss it if you replace the head unit, please let me know.. my Festiva came minus radio and the hour and a half commute is a bit quiet.

That will be a good thing. Get all the festivas into the right hands.
