Exactly.. I can imagine the puzzled looks on some car dealers faces over the next few years when members offer to trade in newer vehicles to take the $500 "old junker" off the lot.

I'm okay with it as well.. really really enjoying my Festiva, even with the cold weather issue it's having and no radio..

    ...and definitely more soon..

That will be a good thing. Get all the festivas into the right hands.

That seems to be our goal lately! We keep finding abused cars we're bringing back to life and finding a good home for them

We need some kind of slogan like the ASPCA has. Something like; "Every year hundreds of Festies are needlessly scrapped. Please, think before you crush"

YES! Perfect! We need a bumper sticker and t-shirts to help spread the word...

Yes it was! Glad someone caught it. My wife (being the dog trainer and rescue shelter activist she is) has a ton of different t-shirts and sweatshirts with all kinds of rescue slogans. I should look through them and come up with a design. One says "Please don't breed or buy, when every year 1,000s of shelter pets die". Maybe something like:

A.S.P.C.F. - "Please don't crush or buy, when every year hundreds of Festivas die."
                Brian

93L - 5SP, FMS springs, 323 alloys, 1st gen B6, ported head & intake, FMS cam, ported exhaust manifold w/2-1/4" head pipe.
                04 Mustang GT, 5SP, CAI, TFS plenum, 70mm TB, catted X, Pypes 304SS cat-back, Hurst Billet+ shifter, SCT/Bama tuned....4.10's & cams coming soon

                1 wife, 2 kids, 9 dogs, 4 cats......
Not enough time or money for any of them

                            There's a reason for that, it's called:

                            "The wife's not home."

It was either this or pr0n. >=)

But yeah, trying to help out the forum and cause as it were..

I may consider putting those stickers in the rear windows of my rollbacks! Seems fitting considering the number of Festies we haul to the shop for "rehabilitation"
