Ok I have been driving my 91 auto for 3 or 4 months and can only get 25-28 mpg out of it. I do run it hard 70-75 mph. is this norm. Or should I be getting better mpg.

I just put the motor in, (Thanks Dean) I used some parts off the old one, would not hurt to give a full tune up. But I do drive it like I stole it; it’s in park or peddles on the floor! I love the car just wish it had 1 more gear. I looked over the 5speed swap thread, Looks like a lot of work for a 500 dollar

I used to get 33 religiously in my 93 auto in town or highway AC or not floored for a whole tank or feathered for a tank. Then I ran it hard on the highway and started getting 26.
