Can't you buy the bpt exhaust manifold at corksport.com?

Also, I thought the problem with keeping the A/C wasn't just with the manifold but also clearance for the pulleys. resu, is your frame notched?

At first I was like hell yeah, I could pop the hood and nobody would a) know what they were looking at and b) nobody would know it was a turbo ...til they walked around back :tongue3:

Anyways, so the stock injectors are ok to use with a turbo then? What about upgrading to something like Probe GT injectors. Those are 330 compared to what, 245 or something right? Is it a simple plug and play or is there more involved with that?

You will run very rich all the time except when in boost with the larger injectors. You need a way to turn them down, either with a safc, ms, or tightening the vaf. As far as the pulley clearance, you should have room regardless of where the turbo is located. A little passenger side frame rail massaging is usually required.

btw if you do end up going hydro clutch, its not that hard to convert. I thought it would be but all i had to do was get a master cylinder, reservoir, stock festy clutch pedal assembly, slave cylinder (unless your tranny already has one, mine did but wanted to get a new one just to be safe) and some brake lines hard/soft. Cost me about 60 bux to convert. hope that helps a lil!!

Ah, whats an extra 60 bucks right?

Why did you have to get a new clutch pedal assembly? Was yours an automatic?

yup i had an auto it took about 2 or 3 hrs to mount everything up, thats with me taking a few breaks. I didnt really get a "new" pedal assembly, just went to the boneyard and snatched one from there. if you look at the brake pedals, the auto ass. is wider, and the clutch ass. has a skinner brake pedal to accommodate the clutch pedal

It cost me no dollars to mount the slave master, everything I needed was on the donor car. All you have to do is drill 2 holes to mount the cyl in the pre-existing clutch cable hole in the firewall. Then run line to the slave cyl. Then weld a pushrod bracket to the clutch pedal. Did you mount yours like I did mine 92festie? I hope the pics helped. I also converted mine from auto to manual and had to swap all that mess over too.

if u you get an egt just look at how its setup on there, pull all that you will use for the conversion and youll have to do some fab work, theres a lot of info on here so it wont be hard to find write ups. just make sure you get everything you need from your donor vehicle as sometimes hard to find the seperate parts

also only reason I know aanything about this is that I parted out what i wasnt using from my donorcar (which i wish i didnt cus now i need to find those parts ) but iirc the person i was selling the trans stuff to had to also get the brake MC or drill a new hole in the brake MC for this conversion although he was just converting his egt from auto to manual, not sure if you still do this for the festiva though
