I wired up my dash clock. It's gunning for my favorite mod right now. Can't understand why I didn't do it sooner, it only took about 15 minutes to make a wiring harness from scratch and hook it up...
Havent got near the festivas in weeks, except for the DD. Worked 12 hours today to support the fleet though. At least Ill have some mad money when I get the time. Diva, the DD right now, has been performing flawlessly so havent had to do any unexpected stuff. Probably need an oil change before too long. Low per mile cost of driving a festiva is still my # 1 reason for loving these cars !!

did rear brake mod, got in touch with a man who owns a few festies and aspires willing to sell me parts, put new belts on it, put emblem on it,
"i know its a 323 emblem, but i like it"
and also added a big bulky(115lbs) JL12W7 SUB my bro left in closet when he moved out a month ago. Its too much for a festy without a couple hundred dollars of sound
damper.

I've been lazyhazy the past two months, but I did get a start on stripping all the carby stuff out of Muttstiva. Found a very rotted right radiator bottom support that came out with the radiator, so I feel I'm doing the right thing taking her down. Just too much rust to deal with.
I just ordered a Dewalt sawzall copy and a buncha Milwaukee wrecking blades to complete the job some day soon.
Haven't touched AquaMutt lately, so I'll be driving Twinstiva to OSX. (I did give her an oil change the other day and she's running well.)

An addition to what I did yesterday and this morning. Charged the battery on the Aspire so I could drive it to work today. Drove to work did my PT aka went to the gym to work out. Came home drained the oil out of the Aspire put the drain plug back in and went and showered. Came out topped the car off with fresh oil and drove to work.
Has caught the most Festivas on Fire on this board!!
mine is still making noise.. err! but its not the ticking sound any more, at random it will make a screeching noise that almost caused me to wreck. i have no idea whats wrong with it. the cable is locked on secure, i checked it after installation. oh well, there could be worse things wrong than that
cluster problem solved! yay me! for any one who has this problem with the horrible noise:
the magnet thing that the speedometer cable spins is not balanced, or something. might be fixable, or you can take one off of a cluster that has one in good condition. the white plastic piece the speedo cable attaches to is the same on tach and non tach so you have a wide variety to find a replacement. you can even mount the trip mileage onto the white plastic peice off of a non tach cluster to keep full functionality!
I swapped in some Escort seats and dome light into my 89' Festiva, and put most of the interior back into my 93'.
-93' L BP swap/e-series, coilovers, RIO front swap, redrilled festy drums, Miata 14" 7 spokes.
-88' Mazda 323 SE, work in progress..
-85' Nissan Sentra 5 spd.
I went to the JY today and got some parts I missed for the aspire swap, a BP ECU and VAF since the engine I'm buying doesn't have anything included, got some more autometer parts and tried to dismount some wide tires but didn't bring my tire bars and ended up ripping the bead.
Doing the front brake swap tomorrow! possibly the rears too, we'll see how much time I end up having
