I used to work for a corrugated box manufacturing company and we used this liquid that is UV reactive and lights up super bright like that when a black light is shined on it. I've got a 20oz bottle of it and it's concentrated...i've been tempted to paint something with it but i haven't decided what yet. I think the wheels are likely against the law though lol.

By the way, ^^^ That's 99.9% city driving

You'd always be able to find your car in a parking lot, and if someone steals it, you just tell the cops to look for it at night.

          Great minds think alike

I immediately bookmarked the pure blue after seeing it

My thought is accent trim, pinstripes, and wheel shading

pure blue only lasts 3 hours though and that red would have been my first choice if it lasted more than 10 min... as for the legality of it... there are laws against under glow and strobes and such but im 99.9% positive there is no legislation against glowing paints well at least not yet...
I know its a piece of crap but im still faster...and its 100% legal!!!!!

wow.. but then again, its $100 a pound, and calls for 5 or 6 pounds for a car.. plus cost of clearcoat. this is totally cool but expensive.

That would be a valid point though - is glowing paint a loop hole around the underglow legislation or would it fall under similar leg. - for example if you painted the underside of your car and installed lights to "charge" your paint and then turned the lights off when you entered a public roadway the paint would still glow but you couldnt be written a ticket for having your lights on????? I have to check into this now

                        from the website:
For retail products, brightness is essential. V10 55-85m has a brightness rating of approximately 33,000 immediately after charge, 945 at 10 minutes, and 126 at 60 minutes. It continues to be visible by the human eye more than 24 hours after the initial charge.

it dims quickly but still has a soft glow for quite some time

so if you put a fog light at each wheel to charge it upit would keep its glow
I know its a piece of crap but im still faster...and its 100% legal!!!!!

I found glow in the dark spraypaint a few years ago, was pale green. At the time my festiva was flat black with neon green flames. I painted over the flames with the glow in the dark stuff and it was very cool. It did not glow bright like the wheels in the op but it stood out at night.
