yeah, there is supposed to be a speed sensor on the speedocable ... it shoulda been connected to the blue wire that says speed on the box. if you search i think there is a install manual. i had one, it was in ebook form. go by that to remove all required parts. and if you want to sell the whole kit, hit me up first.

i found this manual which is not the ford kit but it is a vacuum cruise control kit which SHOULD be similar.

I found the ford cruise control installation manual! haha! knew i had it.
im testing out a new online storage site, so if you let me know your email address i can share it with you

^ I'll stop by there again tomorrow but Im pretty sure there was nothing on the speedo cable. It was unhooked from the tranny I remember because I went out to remove it so I could get some slack to pull the cluster out some to remove the elec. plugs and it was already unscrewed. Its like a cave in that place ( dark ) though so I may have missed something. Anyone got a wiring diagram for the factory ( probably ford dealer added ) set up ? It did plug into the factory wire harness.

this manual looks like it came out of a dealer installation book. it has a wireing diagram, it has everything you need to know to install the whole thing. if the speed sensor is not there, you should be able to find any electric speed sensor that installs in-line and will still let the speedocable go to the cluster.

The speed sensor is on the transmission end. Ought to look through my old manuals I might have one from the cruise I put in the Aspire, the same thing as you have there. It's a stand-alone system.

Fresh, I have one of those still in the box, I'll see if I can find it and scan the installation manual. I also believe it came with a parts listing, which might be useful.

                      Other cars at PNP

This GL only had 138,000 on it and had a tow bar on the front at one time probably pulled behind an RV

WES: several good red hatches like the one below

This came from the neighbor of the person I bought the $100 festiva from a couple of weeks ago.

Solid body doesnt belong in a Junkyard !!

                      Oh Eric........

This had a real solid body and the engine looked new, hard to explain. Looks like it came off of a dealer
                      lot ?????

I drove this one home. Lots of A/C units and five speeds in the lots here wish I had time to get em.

Oh yeah looked real hard for the sensor for the cruise. There was nothing on the speedo cable. I pulled in out and looked it over. Didnt look like there was ever anything on the cable. It had uniform dirt and grime on it, no trace of any thing being attached. Ive got some pic of other festivas at U-Pick-It on my phone. Ill try to get them posted.

^ Nice, did that come from this manual ? Could you post that picture bigger. I have a plug that looks similar to that and I was wondering where it plugged in.
