Has anyone cut and lowered there roof? I was thinking about it. I dont think it should be "THAT" hard. Maybe lowering it about 3"? Idk just a thought..

Only problem is cutting so much glass. You would have to change the front and rear pillar angles. And cut compound angles on the rear windows.-Greg

I've thought about it...4" in the front and 3" in the back to give it some rake. Would look like the Dodge Magnum. Someone should photoshop it............ With a lever long enough and a place to stand, you could move the world..........

Chopping can be done without changing the angles of the window pillars. The roof would have to be widened and lengthened using a roof panel from a second Festiva.Ian

Not worried about the angle of the posts, that's standard chop tech, but again, cutting modern glass may be the problem with this idea. It would be interesting to know about the glass; I have an idea for my Festy after it's life as a DD and the glass would have to be cut to do it.

I've thought about a chopped festiva for a good while now. I have a good 5-6" over my head in my car. Would help aero a good bit, though it might make the car look a bit civic-y.91GL BP/F3A with boost
