I am going to have a relatively short amount of time to strip parts off of the corpse of the Stinktiva. What should I snag? So far I am looking at stereo, wheels, indicators.... what else?

I don't have time or resources to pull the engine, and I think it was compromised anyway as it was crying oil.

What else can I pull off easily that has some value?

Almost five years after the crash and I still miss my poor little Festiva. I put a lot of work into it... sad that it had to die so violently.

On a happier note, my Mom's '92 is still running strong!

If you miss it, why did you call it the Stinktiva? My experience with Festivas and Aspires is that they are remarkably economical cars that go many great miles with few problems.

Storming again here in Florida- day after day for weeks now it seems- a very warm Gulf of Mexico I think.

I called it the Stinktiva because when I first got it, it had a nasty odor in the interior. I had to rip out the carpet and launder the upholstery and wash everything with bleach to get the smell out. It took a lot of elbow grease to get whatever the previous owner did to it out.

That would have buffed right out.

glad nobody got hurt, seems like the festiva can take a hit and fair pretty well considering you stated that you got hit by an suv wonder how fast it was going?

Ouch! Man-o-man…that was a hard hit. VERY glad it was THAT side…and you didn't have a passenger.

As far as the Festy, there's still loads of good parts to harvest. Like Tom said, it just became your parts car.
