I can say for sure that if it's a fire chicken I'll eat my hat. I know my F bodies.
The few stock parts that are visible- namely the headlights, door handles, and mirrors are very first-gen probe. Have a look at this picture:

As well, those wheels are unmistakably FWD/AWD offset.
And the invisible C pillar/wrap-around rear glass are a dead giveaway, as mentioned earlier.
Edit: Mikey beat me to the door handle conclusion. I need to type faster.

I have owned several Probes and I can say its definatly Probe and it is definatly in Eurpoe.... The fold up mirrors came stock on the European models... I also tell it is either 89-92 GT (2.2L Turbo) or a well equiped 90-92 LX (3.0L Vulcan V6) because if you look close at the dash right in the middle you can see a small door that covers the indash computer where on the lower models there was just a big vent for the air.
Oh no!!! Hills, my only weakness!!!!!

I think it needs more air ducts and scoops..............there's still at least 2-1/2 Square feet of flat sheet metal left. They could easily fit another 2 or 3 scoops on the car somewhere. LOL

no way is that a 1st gen. They were squared up everywhere.

                    vs 1st gen

the 1st gen has hard corners on the fenders

Hmmm. I'll have to disagree. A few things point to it being a 1st gen:

First, in both the original pic posted by htchbck and your 1st gen pic, the door mirrors are "in line", so to speak, with the front fenders; in the 2nd gen the mirrors are actually a bit above the front fenders, as in your first pic.

Remember the car in question has been modified quite a bit, so it's no longer as square as it was.

Also the headlight doors are definitely 1st gen Probe, with the little angled bevel at the leading edge:
If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.

It's a second gen...the body lines doors are the obvious difference..

haha that was a lot of replies Yeah, the handles and wrap-around glass were the main things that made me say "probe" too

Besides some sort of porn site, has there ever been a thread with more uses of the word 'probe' in it?

Reminds me of a line from Futurama:

"You'll be treated with respect and dignity.........now strip naked and get on the Probeulator".
If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.
