Mount a gun in the car and you'll end up leaving it in there. It's more likely it will get stolen then you having to use it to protect yourself (unless you're in contact with criminals on a regular basis) and then it would be another gun in the hands of criminals. If you're carrying it for protection then it should be on your person. Try a differeent holster.

he is not talking about leaving it in the car....only having a place to put it while driving instead of the small of his back.

And alot of places were I am from dont allow you to carry a weapon... So im thinking of maybe some kind of locking case that can be mounted in the glove box. So you have the lock on the glove box and the metal case.

It listed for $663. New 3" Magnum 410 in black. A little nose heavy, but a great pistol. $453 before taxes and shipping.

I have never nor would I ever leave a firearm much less a loaded one in a vehicle. I mean it's not like a pair of sun glasses or loose change for Pete's sake it's a gun. If you have ever driven a car(especially a Festiva) wearing a pistol in a holster then you know how uncomfortable it is. I have not tried a shoulder holster that may be different I don't know. When I go to some place that doesn't allow weapons it goes in a lock box that is securely mounted in the trunk.

That is what im talking about some kind of locking box that is welded or bolted to the trunk or glove box of the car. The glove box I figure it would be more secure since it is locking aswell.

Yeah I thought of the glove compartment too but with a flat head screw driver and a few seconds anyone could open most glove boxes the way mine is mounted you would have to cut the car up to get it out my buddy drives a Mustang and he turned his spare tire well into a giant lock box due to having his car broken into he used aluminum diamond plate a piano hinge and a pad lock hasp and pad lock and you cant even tell it's there except for the lump in the carpet from the padlock and the spare sitting in the trunk

That is a good idea. I seen those lock boxes that the front opens instead of the top, might work under the drivers seat if enough room...

I think I have it figured out I was looking today about the easiest place to reach and still be concealed is right under the left rear edge of the passenger seat I am going tomorrow to get the holster and try to get it mounted it is easy in my 93L I have Aspire seats which has the seat back pocket this will be going in my 91 GL I guess I'll see how it works

You could wrap red tape around the end of the gun and hang it from your mirror.
Everyone will think its a toy gun. I mean who would hang a real gun there?
