Bat, a few months after your raise, tell your boss to come look at your new car...then take him out to show him another Festiva that looks even "worse" than your current ride!

Few people will dump their festiva for at or value until good and ready. If I owed 12k on an SUV and someone offered me exactly what I owed, Id turn it loose, even if I had another suv in mind. No one loves their suv's

It's a MazdaFordnKia thing, and you will understand!

I love driving mine to work. We truckers know the value of fuel, and some are less inclined to want to spend our hard earned peanuts on a truck! I get offers from just about every new driver that comes through our 'revolving door!'

                      ^Now that's a reason. But boss, I can't buy a new car. It's unhealthy.

People laugh until I tell them I get 47mpg. I'm not a little guy either, but the Festy fits me better than my mom's bigger, less economic, more expensive Yaris. So many reasons to drive these cars. If only they'd given us the 4 door, it'd be the ONLY car I would own.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

I got lots of laughs too until I tell them how good it does on MPG...then they shut up a bit. I love flaunting my purchase price and MPG in the face of my Prius friends!

I've got a friend from Korea, who had a 4 door Festiva for his first car. Anybody ever see one?

There are several members on here that have posted many photos. Never seen one in real life!
